Taikors and Taikuns (T&T) aims to tell all about Malaysia's top movers and shakers of the corporate world. More accurately the 5 'W's, who, what, why, when, and where of whats happening in Malaysia Inc. Most of our stories are sourced from business dailies in Malaysia and the Asean region, however, due to our profession, we do get quite a bit 'from the grapevine'!

'Taikors'; a is a term used in Cantonese, a Chinese dialect prevalent in Malaysia among the chinese, to describe authority, much like a brother, or even a head of a gang. In our case, the 'Taikor' here is naturally the head of a corporation, or even the Taikor that is causing enough concern with his moves, be it in the corporate world or even in politics. What we don't have is a connection to the underworld, so if you are looking for the real gangstas, then this is not your website!

'Taikuns' is not a cantonese word, but derived, or rather, in this part of the world, localised reference to Tycoons in the english language.
