At a press conference held yesterday, Dato Samson Anand George, Director Corporate Communication and Principal, Liaison Divison of the Naza group of companies together with Datuk Ahiruddin Attan, President of the National Press Club (NPC) jointly announced the NPC Naza Awards 2011.

 The NPC Naza Awards 2011 is endorsed by Prime Minister YAB Dato Seri Najib Tun Hj Abd Razak, who is not only the guest of honor but will also give away the main prizes during the awards ceremony on July 4th 2011.

 Dato Samson said that Naza is pleased to yet again be the title sponsor for the awards night as the Naza Group has always been supportive of the local media and the various activities of the NPC.

 From the many submissions, a judging panel will shortlist 3 names and select a winner for each category and awards will be given to media professionals for their outstanding contribution. Winners will receive a Plaque, cash prizes ranging from RM10k, RM5k and RM3k and a token of appreciation.

NPC Journalist of the Year

NPC Young Journalist of the Year

NPC Blogger of the Year, and
